Court on Hearts – New Slot from Play’n Go

With their brand new Slot Court on Hearts, the developers of Play’n Go once again take us on a journey into the fantastic world of the Alice in Wonderland fairy tale by bestselling author Lewis Carrol.

It is played on 5 cascading reels and 3 rows with a total of 10 fixed ways to win. There are also numerous other features such as 2 wild symbols, 3 different game modifiers and of course a free spins round, in which progressive win multipliers make top payouts of up to 8500x possible. However, one should bear in mind that the volatility according to Play’n Go is in the extremely high range of 9 out of a possible 10. The payout ratio, on the other hand, is well above the 96% industry average at 96.27%.

Another highlight is the motley look and graphics of Court of Hearts. A kind of courtroom serves as the backdrop, because the Knave of Hearts is on trial for a crime he didn’t commit and as a player you have to help him get acquitted. On the reels themselves, in addition to the A to J Royals, there are the Cheshire Cat, a caterpillar and the dormouse. By far the most lucrative symbol is the Queen of Hearts, which pays out 5x, 10x or 20x on a winning combination of 3, 4 or 5 symbols. There is also a wild symbol, which can substitute for any other regular symbol for a winning combination. The Queen of Hearts also becomes a Wild symbol during the Free Spins, but more on that in the Free Spins section.

Play’n Go has once again managed to launch a decent follow-up slot with great visuals, exciting features and decent winning potential. Court of Hearts doesn’t offer anything really new or innovative, but the gameplay is all the more solid. It doesn’t matter whether you are a newcomer or a veteran, everyone is guaranteed to have fun with the slot.

Free Spins

In terms of features, Court of Hearts offers us a variety of options, most notably the cascading reels. After each successful spin, all winning symbols are removed, making room for new ones and making more paylines possible.

There are also 3 different modifier features, which are triggered randomly using the Rabbit Hole symbol. Among other things, there is the Cheshire Cat feature, in which the wild takes up an entire reel and then triggers a cascade. The caterpillar feature randomly brings up to 7 wild symbols onto the reels and the dormouse feature lands a 2×2 to 4×3 mega wild on the reels.

The Rabbit Reward Feature places 2 scatter symbols on the reels, making it much easier to trigger the actual free spins round, as at least 3 scatter symbols are required for this. Depending on the number of scatters, we are rewarded with 9 free spins and a win of 5x, 10x or 15x. In the free spins, the Queen of Hearts symbol also acts as a wild symbol.

Each successful cascade increases the win multiplier by 1x. This does not reset after unsuccessful spins and theoretically has no upper limit. Every scatter symbol that lands on the reels during the free spins also grants us another free spins, here too there is no limit.
