Two wallets
Cash and bonus sit in separate wallets. Real money is used first. Wagering usually runs on the bonus wallet once cash is gone. If you have not touched the bonus funds, you can usually withdraw the deposit and forfeit the leftover bonus. That is non-sticky. Sticky glues the lot together until playthrough is done. You cannot pick the deposit out of a sticky chest.
Bull is the example
Bull Casino’s welcome is sold as non-sticky: 200% up to €400 + 200 spins, 40x. The product is the abort. If the 40x is ugly by day two, the deposit can still leave — if the bonus is untouched. The Simsinos conflict
A 0x match is rare in this jungle. Simsinos is first because the first drop is advertised as wager-free. Public pages still print conflicting T&Cs on whether that pack is cashable or sticky: 0x on the banner, a 1x line in the PDF, and the bonus deducted on withdrawal. Non-sticky language is the same kind of conflict: the banner is not the cashier.
When to abort
Non-sticky is useful when you will actually stop. If you touch the bonus wallet, the abort is gone. Spins that credit to bonus, a reload mixed into the same wallet, a ‘quest’ drop — any of those can glue the lot. If you came for the deposit-back option, do not open the bonus wallet to ‘just try a book’.
What Root Score does with it
Non-sticky is a fairness input because the abort has a cash value. It does not turn a 40x B+D into a 0x. We still print B or B+D, the clock, and the cap. Commissions do not write the score.
