What wagering is

Wagering — also called playthrough or rollover — is the amount you must bet before bonus funds become withdrawable cash. Houses attach it so a match is not a wire transfer. It is not a fee. It is a volume of bets. Until it is done, the extra money is not yours to take to the cashier. Treat it as a rented bankroll, not a gift: the withdrawal plan belongs on day one, not after a lucky feature when the brain wants one more.

How it works

The multiplier sits on the bonus, or on the bonus plus your deposit. We label that B or B+D on every chest. Most slots contribute 100% of each spin. A €1 spin on a 100% game knocks €1 off the remaining playthrough — win or lose. The house edge is still there. You are buying volume, not a refund.

1. Bonus-only (B): playthrough = bonus × multiplier.
2. Bonus plus deposit (B+D): playthrough = (bonus + deposit) × multiplier.
3. Winnings from free spins usually convert to bonus funds and inherit that wagering.
4. Write remaining playthrough and the max bet before the first spin. If you cannot see whether the multiplier sits on B or B+D, do not deposit yet.

Worked examples

Percentages are costume. These four sums are the ones that decide whether a chest is a walk or a week.

The expected cost

The house edge still applies to every euro of playthrough. Expected loss is roughly (1 − RTP) × playthrough. That is the average price of the walk — before luck. High RTP lowers it. It does not erase it. A 30x match on €100 is not a €100 gift; it is a few thousand euros of bets with a small leak.

Variance can beat the average in either direction. Budget the leak like a ticket. If €120 of expected cost for a €100 match feels stupid, it is stupid. High RTP only makes the ticket cheaper — it does not make the trip free.

How many spins

Minimum spins = playthrough ÷ stake. The clock does not care that you have a job. If the max bet is €5, Ice’s €4,800 first drop is 960 spins. At two seconds a spin that is the better part of an evening. At €0.20 it is a weekend you will not get back. Size the stake so you can finish at a stake you actually like — or skip the bonus. The other latches

The multiplier is only the first clause. These four sit beside it on almost every pack in this vault.

Game weighting

Forfeit the chest

Cancelling is a tool. If the remaining playthrough is ugly, or the clock is dead, ask support to drop the bonus before you hit withdraw — the button order matters more than people think. On a non-sticky wallet you may keep the cash. On a sticky wallet you may lose the lot. Do not discover which one you have at the cashier.

No wagering
