Weighting is not RTP
A 98% file at 10% weighting is a slower bar than a 96% file at 100%. The PDF’s game table is the walk, not the studio sheet.

Two numbers
RTP is what the file returns over a very long run. Weighting is what the bonus PDF counts toward playthrough. A spin on a 100% game moves the bar by the stake. A spin on a 10% game moves it by a tenth. Live, tables, and some slots sit at 0% or 10%. The studio sheet does not know that.
The slow 98%
Blood Suckers prints 98.00% on NetEnt’s page. If a house weights it at 10%, it is a worse grind than Starburst at 100% and 96.08%. Read the games table in the PDF, not the marketing row in the lobby.
Convert files still need 100%
A leftover bar on Gates or a book only works if the spin counts. If the PDF cuts high-volatility titles to 50% or excludes the feature, the convert is costume. The games note (/guides/wager-games) already splits grind and convert. This page is the percentage behind that split.
What to do
Open the bonus PDF. Find the game contribution table. Confirm the title you picked is 100%, or know the slower walk. Then open the game info panel for the RTP file. Two checks. In that order. The panel walk is /guides/rtp-files-studio-sheet-vs-lobby. The grind list is /guides/wager-games.
What Root Score does
Root Score is arithmetic on the terms, not an average of slot RTPs. Weighting is why a 40x on ‘all games’ is not a 40x on the book. We still tell you to read the table.
