What does ‘terms checked’ mean on Bonusjungle?

“Terms checked” is the date on which we last read a casino’s published bonus terms against the offer shown on the card. It is not a claim that we deposited, played or withdrew. If that date is older than two weeks, we treat the offer as unconfirmed until the terms are read again.

Keep these

  • Terms checked means we read the published terms; it is not a test of the cashier.
  • Payout times, KYC and support stay unverified until they have actually been measured.
  • If the terms-check date is older than two weeks, we treat the offer as unconfirmed.

What gets listed

We list a casino when we can read and explain its published terms. We do not publish ratings copied from a lobby. If we cannot explain a conclusion, it does not appear. A commission does not change Root Score or the terms-check date.

Terms checked

Terms checked means we read the published terms against the offer on the card: wagering, limits, the deadline and country restrictions. It is not a claim that we opened an account, deposited, played or withdrew. Payout times, KYC and support only appear on a casino page when they have been measured, and until then the payout time stays unverified. A casino can advertise a 0–24h window and still pay out slowly, so we only show payout times we have actually measured.

Terms-check date

The terms-check date is the day we last read the published terms for the offer you see. Wagering, limits and codes change, and we have seen 30x become 40x in a fortnight. A bonus without that date is unverified. If the terms-check date is older than two weeks, we treat the offer as unconfirmed until the terms are read again.

How a conclusion is written

Root Score rates the bonus terms, and the terms-check date shows how current they are. We never combine the two into one number. If the score is high and a measured payout was slow, you will see both. If we have not measured the payout, the page says so.

FAQ

Does “terms checked” mean you played at the casino?

No. It means we read the casino’s published bonus terms and compared them with the offer on the card. It does not mean we opened an account, deposited, played or withdrew. Payout times only appear on a casino page when they have actually been measured, and otherwise the page says they are unverified.

What happens when the date is older than two weeks?

We treat the offer as unconfirmed until the terms are read again. Wagering, limits and codes can change quickly, and we have seen 30x become 40x in a fortnight. An older date does not mean the offer is wrong, but you should check the casino’s current terms before you deposit.

Is the terms-check date part of Root Score?

No. Root Score rates the bonus terms, and the terms-check date shows how current that reading is. We keep the two separate and never combine them into one number. A high score with an old date still means the terms should be checked again before you rely on them.
