Judge bars Kalshi sports contracts on three tribes' lands
A federal judge in California has granted a preliminary injunction barring Kalshi from offering sports contracts on the Indian lands of the tribes suing it. The order covers those lands only, not California as a whole.

CFTC tells exchanges to end US geographic access limits
The CFTC says designated contract markets must, within 30 days, end domestic geographic restrictions that violate its impartial access requirements, or explain to its staff why that is not feasible. The interpretation is the agency's view, not a court order.

Ninth Circuit denies Kalshi rehearing in Nevada Assad case
The Ninth Circuit on 4 November denied Kalshi's petitions for panel and en banc rehearing in KalshiEX v. Assad, its Nevada sports-contract case. Legal Sports Report and RG say that leaves the August panel ruling in place so Nevada can keep enforcing its gambling rules against those contracts.

Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin filed two lawsuits on 4 November: one against VGW, the company behind Chumba Casino, LuckyLand and Global Poker, and one against prediction market Kalshi. Both say the companies offer illegal gambling in Arkansas. These are allegations, not court findings.

Casa de Apostas back in Brazil? What the court ruling means
A federal appeals judge in Brazil has provisionally restored the betting licence of CDA Gaming, which runs Casa de Apostas, Betsul and Jogo Online, despite the ban under MP 1.394. The 3 November decision covers this one company only, was taken by a single judge and can still be reversed. Every other operator remains shut.

Austria's gambling bill: EU standstill extended to 7 Dec
The EU standstill on Austria's online gambling bill now ends on 7 December 2026 instead of 5 November, after Malta issued a detailed opinion. The bill cannot be adopted before then. Nothing changes for players yet, and the draft's 1 January 2027 date is unchanged.

Flutter Q3: $1.15bn net loss after $873m Brazil write-down
Flutter reported a third-quarter net loss of $1,148m on revenue of $3,874m (+2%). The loss includes an $873m non-cash impairment in Brazil, where the company says its operations are closed under the betting ban. Flutter cut its 2026 guidance and paused its share buyback.

Brazil's betting ban hearing ends with no court decision
The public hearing on MP 1.394, the measure that bans fixed-odds betting in Brazil, ran for about ten hours at the Supreme Federal Court on 3 November and ended without a decision. Justice Luiz Fux called it informational. No injunction was granted and no date for a ruling has been announced, so the ban stays in force.

The International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR) has announced its first Illegal Gambling Awareness Week, 9–13 November 2026. It will feature CheckBeforeYouPlay.org, a free licensing-information tool that IAGR says launches on 9 November. IAGR does not say which jurisdictions the tool covers.

Play'n GO reportedly cuts supply to aggregators
NEXT.io reports that Play'n GO told all major aggregators on 29 October that its games will no longer be available through them. The Play'n GO comment quoted by NEXT.io does not mention the letters. Separately, the Dutch regulator has ordered Endorphina to act against its games appearing on sites without a Dutch licence.

Sweden bans the firms behind Hellspin, Ivibet and Duel
Sweden's gambling regulator banned two companies from providing gambling in Sweden without a licence on 28 October. The companies run the brands Ivibet, Hellspin, Slotsgem and Duel. Both bans apply at once. The decisions do not say the sites are closed or blocked, and they say nothing about player balances.

Betsson France licensed for online poker by the ANJ
