How Stormfire plays

Five reels, three rows, 20 lines. A regular wild lands on reels 2, 3, and 4 with 2× or 3×. It substitutes for paying symbols. When two or more wilds share a winning line, those multipliers are added.

A Storm Wild lands on the same three reels, expands to cover the reel, and starts a respin. Every wild already on the grid is held for that respin. If the Storm Wild expands onto a reel that already holds a regular wild, it takes that wild's multiplier. Three Storm Wilds on one spin merge into a 3×3 Mega Wild at 15×.

A Fire Wild lands on reel 1 or reel 5 and expands to cover that reel. One Fire Wild sets every other wild on the spin to 5×. Two Fire Wilds set them to 10×. A Fire Wild can also place up to three wilds or Storm Wilds on middle reels that do not already hold a wild. One Fire Wild together with three Storm Wilds, or with a Mega Wild, merges into a 4×3 Giga Wild at 30×. Two Fire Wilds together with three Storm Wilds, or with a Mega Wild, award the maximum win.

Three or more free-spin scatters open Free Spins. Each scatter awards 3, 4, or 5 spins, and each further free-spin symbol during the round adds 3, 4, or 5. Each Fire Wild during the round adds 2 spins. Regular wilds in the round land at 2×, 3×, or 4× and stay locked. Fire Wilds lock as well and keep the same 5× or 10× lift for the rest of the round. If a Storm Wild covers a locked wild, the regular wild is visible again on the next free spin, once the Storm Wild has gone. Super Spins symbols do not land in Free Spins.

Super Spins need one Super Spins scatter plus two or more free-spin scatters. Each of those scatters also awards 3, 4, or 5 spins. The round uses the Free Spins rules, with a higher chance of Storm Wilds and Fire Wilds. The product page does not say how much higher. Super Spins symbols do not land during either bonus round.

The published maximum is 25,000× the current stake. Reaching it ends the round, pays that maximum, and forfeits any spins still left.

The product page names four feature buys and does not print their prices. Power mode raises the chance of Storm Wilds, Fire Wilds, and free-spin symbols. Free Spins guarantees three or more free-spin scatters, and one of them may be a Super Spins scatter. 5 Scatters guarantees five free-spin scatters, again with a possible Super Spins scatter. Super Spins guarantees the Super Spins trigger. A buy is an extra stake, and a casino can turn it off.

Published specifications

Playin's public math record prints RTP 96.15%, hit frequency 47.78%, volatility index 32.32, and a maximum of 25,000×. The grid is 5×3 with 20 lines. Feature buy and a bonus mode are both marked yes. The same record prints a stake range of €0.20 to €500. It does not print a second RTP, a word such as high or medium, feature-buy prices, or the chance of reaching the cap.

The exclusive window starts 23 September 2026. The confirmed release is 30 September 2026. Before that date the game is on Playin and is not the general casino release. After it, the RTP and the stake cap in a lobby are the ones in that game's info panel. A casino can set a tighter cap than the €500 on the Playin record.

Assessment

The readable part of Stormfire is the ladder. A Storm Wild shows the expand and the held respin. A Fire Wild shows the lift to 5× or 10×. Three Storm Wilds become a Mega Wild at 15×. One Fire Wild with that result becomes a Giga Wild at 30×. In Free Spins the wilds lock, so a later Fire Wild still has something to lift.

15× and 30× are multipliers on the merged wild. They are not the 25,000× cap. The rules award that cap when two Fire Wilds land together with three Storm Wilds or a Mega Wild, and the round then stops. Playin prints a hit frequency of 47.78%. Thor's Rage 2, a different Red Tiger game, prints 27.63% on the same kind of page. Stormfire's more frequent hits are line results. They are not the two-Fire maximum. The volatility index of 32.32 sits next to Thor's Rage 2's 32.36. Playin does not translate either index into high or low.

Disco Inferno is another Red Tiger game, built around a coin collector on a 5×5. The studio is the same. The bonus is not.
