Casino bonus time limits: how the expiry date can end a bonus
A casino bonus usually has an expiry date, and that deadline is separate from how long a withdrawal takes. If the wagering is not finished in time, the bonus and its winnings can be removed. Rooster’s ROOSTER2 code gives seven days for 40x at a €5 maximum bet, and Ice gives five days.

Keep these
- The bonus expiry and the stated withdrawal time are two separate rules.
- A “0–24h” note on a casino page is a promise, not a measured payout time.
- Rooster’s ROOSTER2 code means 40x wagering within seven days at a €5 maximum bet, and if you cannot play enough in that week, the bonus expires first.
- Ice’s first deposit has a five-day deadline and a cashout limit of 5×, so check both before you deposit.
- The terms-check date on each casino page shows when we last read its terms; if it is older than two weeks, treat the offer as unconfirmed until it is read again.
Bonus expiry vs. withdrawal time
The bonus expiry is how long you have to finish the wagering. The withdrawal time is how long a casino says a payout takes. Both are separate rules, and a “0–24h” note says nothing about the bonus deadline. Withdrawal times are covered on our casino pages; this guide is about the bonus deadline.
Example: seven days at Rooster
ROOSTER2 means 40x wagering within seven days at a €5 maximum bet. Even at €5 per spin, a large match can need thousands of spins, and an estimate of 500 spins an hour is only a rough guide. If you cannot spend those hours within seven days, the bonus ends before the wagering is done.
Example: five days at Ice
Ice’s first deposit has a five-day deadline and a cashout limit of 5×. Even a low-volatility slot has to finish the wagering inside five days. The 5× limit caps what you can withdraw, and the deadline decides whether you get that far.
What you can do
Read the expiry before you deposit. If a lot of wagering is left and only a few days remain, a calmer slot under the maximum bet is the safer choice, or you can skip the offer. Switching to a high-volatility slot near the end often costs the bonus.
Terms-check date
The terms-check date on each casino page shows when we last read its terms. This guide does not change that date. If it is older than two weeks, treat the offer as unconfirmed until the terms are read again.
FAQ
Does the bonus expiry include the withdrawal time?
No. The bonus expiry is how long you have to finish the wagering, and the withdrawal time is how long the casino says a payout takes. They are two separate rules. A fast payout promise does not give you more time to clear the bonus, and a long deadline says nothing about payout speed.
What happens if I do not finish the wagering in time?
The terms usually remove the bonus and any winnings made with it once the deadline passes. Some casinos also remove free spins that were not used. The exact wording differs, so check the expiry clause in the casino’s bonus terms before you deposit and decide whether you can play enough in time.
How long is the expiry at Rooster and Ice?
Rooster’s ROOSTER2 code gives seven days for 40x wagering at a €5 maximum bet, and Ice’s first deposit gives five days, with a 5× cashout limit. Both figures are as of the terms-check date shown on each casino page, and casinos can change them, so check the current terms.
