Play’n GO launched Three Pots of the Genie on 29 September 2026. The studio’s own post calls it a six-reel video slot with 4,096 payways. Golden lamps, jewelled rings and purple slippers fill the set. Three pots sit above the reels: blue, red and purple. Each one, if it is active, changes how the Lock’n Gold round works.

This is a reading of that post, not a hands-on review. Play’n GO does not print RTP, volatility, a maximum-win figure or a stake range on the page, so those numbers are not here. Availability at any given casino is also not something the studio post can settle.

What the studio published

The post does not spell out how many rows sit on each reel, so the 4,096-way figure is the only layout number on the post. It also does not mention a GO Ultra mode, a bonus buy, or more than one RTP file.

How Lock’n Gold is described

In the base game, landing one or more Gem Scatters may start Lock’n Gold with one, two or all three pot features already active. Coins that land stay locked through the re-spins. Their values stay hidden until the round ends, unless a pot effect reveals them earlier.

Further Gem Scatters during the round may unlock extra pots that were not active at the start. Magnus Wallentin, Play’n GO’s Games Ambassador, put the design that way: “Another pot feature may unlock during the round, so there’s interest in both the Coins you’re collecting and what might join the action next.”

Blue, Red and Purple

The three pots only do their work when they are active, and only inside Lock’n Gold.

  • Blue Pot Bonus (Double). A Double Scatter reveals and doubles selected Coin values.
  • Red Pot Bonus. An Ignite Scatter reveals and increases one selected Coin. That Coin then keeps increasing on every later re-spin until the round ends, even if no further Ignite Scatter lands.
  • Purple Pot Bonus. Bonus Scatters reveal Mini, Minor, Major or Grand and fill spaces on the matching panel. Completing a panel pays that panel’s instant bonus.

The studio does not say how often a given pot is already on at the start of a round, or how often extra Gem Scatters add one mid-round.

What the studio page leaves out

RTP, volatility, the maximum-win multiplier and the bet range are not on the launch post. Do not treat a number from a review site or a casino info panel as a studio figure. If a later Play’n GO sheet prints them, that is a separate latch. Until then, check the game’s own information panel at the casino you use (why a studio page and a lobby can disagree).

Who it may suit

From the published structure only: this is a ways game whose extra round is a hold-and-respin, with modifiers that can stack if more pots unlock. That published structure fits players who prefer a round that can change after it has started, rather than a round whose tools are all known on entry. It is a weak fit if you need a printed RTP, a published ceiling, or a stated hit rate before you play.
