Evolution launches Spinning Whale, a North America–focused slots studio

On 29 September 2026, Evolution announced Spinning Whale, a new online slot brand with a primary focus on North American player preferences and broader international appeal kept in view.

Spinning Whale joins Evolution's existing slot brands — Nolimit City, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Big Time Gaming and Sneaky Slots — rather than replacing any of them. Distribution is exclusive to Evolution's One Stop Shop (OSS), so operators already on OSS get the brand through a single integration.

Debut title and rollout

The first title is 888 Dragon's Fortune Hold'n'Win, an Asian-themed slot Evolution describes as inspired by classic land-based Hold'n'Win framing and reimagined for online players in the US. The brand's wider North American network debut is set for November 2026, with further Spinning Whale titles planned for 2027.

Why Evolution says it built the brand

Jacob Claesson, CEO Evolution North America, said North America is a key market and that US players can differ on themes, volatility, mechanics and visual style. Spinning Whale is meant to release more games with that US perspective from the outset, while still expecting some titles to travel beyond the region.

Malcolm Mizzi, Head of Commercial Operations for Evolution RNG, framed the studio as another distinct proposition in a multi-brand portfolio — different identities and mechanics rather than one style for every player — with the US as the initial focus and potential across Evolution's global network.
