Play'n GO's Tower Run Treasure Steps came out on 15 October. It is a 5x5 cascading grid with a win meter that starts over every spin and a side path whose progress is saved separately for each bet level.

Play'n GO released Tower Run Treasure Steps on 15 October 2026, a fantasy grid slot in which a would-be knight called Bob climbs a monster-filled tower towards a Treasure Room at the top. The game swaps paylines for cascading scatter pays on a 5x5 grid, and it adds two things worth understanding before the first spin: a win meter that only counts within a single spin, and a side path whose progress is stored separately for every bet size.

How the grid pays

Six or more matching Monster symbols, or seven or more matching Royal symbols, anywhere on the grid make a win. Winning symbols disappear, new ones drop into the gaps, and the chain carries on as long as new wins form. Wilds stand in for the regular paying symbols.

The Win-O-Meter of Destiny

Each win inside a spin adds one charge to the meter, and it goes back to zero when the next spin starts. That is the key detail: nothing builds up across spins, so every feature on the meter has to be earned within one cascade chain.

  • 3 charges, Wild Rift: 1–4 Wilds land in empty positions before the grid checks for another cascade.
  • 6 charges, Dimensional Multiplier: another 1–4 Wilds, plus a global multiplier of x2, x3, x4 or x5 on every win in the next cascading sequence. If the meter jumps straight past Wild Rift to this stage, 2–8 Wilds land instead.
  • 9 charges, Treasure Room: the bonus round opens once the last cascade settles.

Inside the Treasure Room

The Treasure Room is a Hold & Spin round on an empty 5x5 grid with three lives. Coins stick and pay x1–x5 the base bet. Mimic Chests also stick but land closed, with a prize of x10–x5,000 the base bet behind a countdown of 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 respins. A Key opens one random closed Mimic early; Keys don't stick. Landing a Coin, Mimic or Key, or a Mimic opening, restores all lives. The round ends when lives run out or all 25 positions are filled.

Bob's Ascent: a climb saved per bet

Above the reels, every spin moves Bob 1–6 steps along a path. Every 18 steps he meets a monster that pays an instant x0.2–x10 the base bet. By our arithmetic, covering 18 steps at 1–6 steps a spin takes between 3 and 18 spins.

Play'n GO says Bob's position is saved separately at each bet level: change your stake and the game loads that stake's climb, and when you return he carries on where he left off. In practice that means a half-finished climb at one bet does not carry over to another. Each encounter pays at most x10 the base bet, which is no reason to stay at a stake or come back to finish a path.

GO ULTRA

With GO ULTRA switched on, all base-game grid wins get a permanent x2 multiplier, the Dimensional Multiplier becomes a fixed x5, and the Treasure Room starts with four lives instead of three. The x2 does not apply to Bob's Ascent prizes. Check the game's info screen for the GO ULTRA terms before turning it on.
