It has two bonus routes, Free Spins and Hold ’n’ Win. Stakelogic unveiled Stitchers Get Stitches on 29 October 2026. It is a dark-comic slot set inside a cursed claw machine in a toy store, where a stitched teddy bear called Stitches leads the broken toys against the perfect ones on top. In the game, symbols can split into extra copies, creating extra ways to win, alongside multipliers, Uprising and two bonus routes.

The grid and the splits

The game uses 6 reels and 4 rows with 4,096 ways to win. Wins pay for matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, starting with three reels.

Two symbols do the splitting. According to the game's help screen:

  • Stitches Wild lands on reels 2 to 5 and splits one randomly chosen high-paying symbol type into two or three copies.
  • Chainsaw lands only on reel 6 and splits the symbols in its row, right to left, into two or three copies.

When both land on the same spin, the Chainsaw Massacre feature splits every symbol on the grid. The help screen says each instance is calculated as a separate symbol, and Stakelogic’s press release describes the splits as creating extra ways to win.

Uprising can trigger randomly, both in the base game and in Free Spins: all low-paying symbols are replaced by high-paying ones. The help screen says it cannot trigger when more than three low-paying symbol types are on the grid.

Multiplier symbols worth x2, x3, x5, x7 or x10 can also land. Their values are added together. In the base game they apply to that spin's total win.

Two bonus routes

  • Free Spins. Four, five or six Bonus symbols award 10, 15 or 20 free spins. Stitches lands as a wild on every free spin, and multipliers accumulate for the whole feature instead of resetting. The feature cannot be retriggered.
  • Hold ’n’ Win. This triggers at random in the base game, not from Free Spins. It plays on its own 6×4 grid. The player gets 3 spins, and the counter resets to 3 each time a symbol lands. Value coins are worth 0.25x to 2,000x the bet, according to the help screen.

Bonus buy and Super Stake

Where permitted, the game sells direct entry to its features. The help screen lists these prices, as multiples of the bet:

PurchasePrice
10 / 15 / 20 Free Spins55x / 100x / 170x
20 Free Spins with triple splits only650x
Hold ’n’ Win45x
Chainsaw Massacre / with triple splits30x / 165x
Guaranteed Stitches spin5x

Super Stake costs an extra 50% of the base bet. The help screen says it places more Bonus symbols on the reels but does not change the pay table. In other words, you pay more per spin for a better chance at Free Spins, not for bigger wins.

In January 2020 the Gambling Commission reminded online operators of its game standards after finding six offering feature buy-ins on slot-style games. All six removed them, according to the Commission. Whether this game's buy options appear elsewhere depends on the casino and the market.

Published specifications

  • RTP: 95.98% on the game page. The help screen lists six “RTP for Super Stake” lines: 88.04%, 90.03%, 91.96%, 93.97%, 95.54% and 95.98%. Its bonus-buy figures run from about 88% to about 96%. The help screen does not say how these levels are used or who picks one, so check the RTP in the game’s info screen before you play.
  • Volatility: five stars on Stakelogic's game page.
  • Win cap: 20,000x the bet in the base game and in Free Spins. If the cap is reached during Free Spins, the feature ends. The game page lists the maximum win as €500,000.

As of 1 November, neither Stakelogic’s press release nor its game page publishes a hit rate or go-live dates for individual casinos.

James Jelliffe, Head of Slots at Stakelogic, said the studio "wanted to take the familiar charm of a toy store and twist it into something darker, funnier and far more unpredictable."

Our reading

The split mechanic is easy to follow once you know which symbol does what: Stitches on the middle reels, the chainsaw on the last one, and the massacre when both show up. The more important details sit in the help screen. The help screen lists Super Stake RTP at six levels, the game page gives volatility as five stars only, and Super Stake buys more Bonus symbols, not a better pay table. The 650x triple-split buy is the clearest example of how fast the cost of skipping the base game adds up.

It follows Pragmatic Play's Sweet Loot, also announced on 29 October. Availability depends on the casino and your country. Browse slots or compare wagering terms in our bonuses before you play.
