What you see on the reels

Six reels, six rows, cascading wins. Random positions on the bottom rows fill with dirt, and dirt can hide a Bonus symbol, a Bomb or a Gem. Six Bomb types clear set patterns. A Gem pays its value times the base bet when a Bomb blows away the dirt over it, and every Gem grows at the start of each avalanche. Shovel and Toolbox add and upgrade Gems. Three Bonus symbols start The Descent.

Release preview. Nolimit City dates Six Feet Under for 20 October 2026. The studio page lists 13 October 2026 as Exclusive Early Access, a week before that. The game is not in casino lobbies yet, and this preview is built from the studio’s game page.

The setup is a 6×6 grid with cascading reels. Each spin fills random positions on the bottom rows with dirt, and the dirt can hide Bonus symbols, Bombs or Gems. Bombs clear the dirt. Gems pay when a Bomb uncovers them. Three Bonus symbols start The Descent.

Studio RTP 96.05%. Hit frequency 21.90%. Max win 30,000× the base bet. The volatility field on the studio page is blank.

Release date, early access and theme

20 October 2026 is the release date on Nolimit City’s game page. 13 October 2026 is listed as Exclusive Early Access. That is an early, exclusive window, not the go-live for every casino, and the page does not say who gets it. The page says a free demo will be posted there before the game goes live.

The studio line: “Making friends has never been his strong suit.” One minute you are his new best friend, the next you have your own little spot six feet under. Nolimit sums it up as “Best Friends Forever, but he takes the ‘forever’ bit quite seriously.” The key art shows a frightened woman holding out a hand under a storm sky. The tone is a dark joke about friendship.

How Six Feet Under plays

Six reels, six rows, cascading reels. On each spin, random positions on the bottom rows fill with dirt. Dirt can hide a Bonus symbol, a Bomb or a Gem, so part of the grid is covered before anything pays.

Wilds substitute for any paying symbol. The studio page does not say how regular symbols pay: it names no lines, ways or clusters. Check the paytable when the game opens.

The rest of the page covers six Bomb types, Gems with Shovel and Toolbox, The Descent bonus, six paid boosters, Side Hustle bets, xTra spins, and a 30,000× cap called Happy Birthday.

Bombs, Gems, Shovel and Toolbox

Six Bomb types clear set patterns:

  • Small Box. A 3×3 area.
  • Teddy Bear. A cross, up to two positions in all four directions.
  • Big Box. A 5×5 area.
  • Glass Can. Three rows: its own and the rows above and below.
  • Gasoline. Three columns.
  • Cake. Its row, its column and both diagonals.

Gems are where the money sits. A Gem pays its value times the base bet when a Bomb explosion removes the dirt covering it. At the start of each avalanche, every Gem grows by its base value. Base values run 1×, 2×, 3×, 5×, 10×, 20×, 50×, 100×, 200× and 1,000×. Read literally, a 5× Gem that waits through two more avalanche starts is worth 15× when a Bomb finally uncovers it.

The Shovel removes itself, drops random Gems into empty dirt positions on its reel and upgrades the Gems already there. The Toolbox does the same on every reel.

The Descent

Three Bonus symbols trigger The Descent, the game’s bonus round. A Bonus symbol still buried under dirt does not count.

The round starts on an empty grid. Every new drop brings dirt along with regular symbols, and dirt is sticky, so the grid fills up as the round goes on. The round ends when the grid is full of dirt. Each Bonus symbol above three in the trigger removes the next-lowest Gem type from landing, which leaves only the higher Gems.

The stats panel lists free spins at 1 in 233. The page marks feature buy-in as available but prints no price for buying The Descent outright.

Boosters, Side Hustle and xTra

Boosters change the next spin at a fixed price, quoted in base bets:

  • Bonus Booster, 3×. A Bonus symbol is guaranteed under the dirt.
  • Pure Spin, 8×. Only Gems with a base value of 5× or higher can land.
  • Purer Spin 50x, 8×. Same description and price on the page.
  • Greedy Spin, 8×. Same description and price again.
  • Greedier Spin, 300×. Every dirt position fills with Gems of 50× or higher.
  • Greediest Spin, 3,000×. Every dirt position fills with 1,000× Gems.

Pure, Purer and Greedy share one description and one price on the studio page. That looks like placeholder copy. Treat the three as unconfirmed until Nolimit separates them.

Side Hustle adds optional side bets with fixed wins: one for each of the six Bomb types exploding, 12 Freespins (The Descent runs to at least 12 spins), No Dirt (the spin ends with no dirt), and Dead Spin (a base spin that ends with no win). Several can run at once.

xTra can offer one extra spin when a round ends. It keeps dirt that holds symbols and any Bonus symbols. The price depends on the active feature and what is left on the grid, and the offer only appears if that price is no more than the round’s total win.

Assessment

A 21.90% hit frequency means roughly one spin in 4.6 returns something, before anything is known about the size of that win. Free spins at 1 in 233 is a long average wait. The 30,000× cap sits at 1 in 93 million. That is a ceiling, not a target.

The Greediest Spin is the expensive one: 3,000× the base bet, or €600 at the €0.20 minimum. It fills every dirt position with 1,000× Gems, but under the Gems rule a Gem pays only when a Bomb clears the dirt over it, and the page does not promise a Bomb to go with them.

Two gaps matter before anyone plays: the blank volatility field and the missing pay rules for regular symbols. Both should be in the in-game paytable on release day.

Bonus restrictions

Boosters and Side Hustle bets raise the cost of a spin. Many bonus terms ban feature buys or cap the stake per spin, and a booster usually counts as the stake. At a €1 base bet a Pure Spin costs €8, which already breaks a €5 max bet rule. A Greedier Spin at the same base bet costs €300. Check the bonus terms before you touch a booster on bonus money.
