Caesars' online casino and sports betting segment grew third-quarter revenue 4.8% to $326 million and lifted adjusted EBITDA to $44 million. The group's net loss widened to $123 million, and there was no earnings call because of the pending takeover by Fertitta.

Caesars' online business grew again in the third quarter while the group as a whole sank deeper into the red. Caesars Digital, the segment behind the company's online casino and sports betting apps in the United States, reported revenue of $326 million for the three months to 30 September 2026, up 4.8% from $311 million a year earlier. Adjusted EBITDA rose to $44 million from $28 million, an increase of 57.1%, according to the results Caesars Entertainment filed on 27 October.

Adjusted EBITDA is a profit measure the company defines itself: earnings before interest, tax and depreciation, with further one-off and non-cash items removed. It is not a standard accounting figure, so Caesars also reports net income. On that basis the digital segment made a profit of $4 million, against a loss of $21 million in the third quarter of 2025.

Digital over nine months

In the first nine months of 2026, Caesars Digital revenue was $1,051 million, up 6.3% from $989 million. Adjusted EBITDA was $181 million, against $151 million, and the segment's net income attributable to Caesars was $53 million, against $18 million a year earlier.

The group picture

  • Net revenue: $2,940 million, up 2.5% from $2,869 million.
  • Net loss attributable to Caesars: $123 million, against $55 million.
  • Adjusted EBITDA: $865 million, down 2.1% from $884 million.
  • Las Vegas: revenue $930 million (down 2.3%), adjusted EBITDA $343 million (down 9.5%), net income $79 million against $132 million.
  • Regional casinos: revenue $1,627 million (up 5.9%), adjusted EBITDA $524 million (up 3.6%), net income $66 million against $56 million.

As of 30 September, Caesars had $11.7 billion of debt and $864 million of cash and cash equivalents, excluding restricted cash.

In our view, the quarter shows that digital is carrying more of the load: its adjusted EBITDA grew faster in percentage terms than any other segment's, while Las Vegas went the other way. Online is still small beside the casinos, at about 11% of group revenue in the quarter.

What Caesars did not say

There was no earnings call and no outlook. Caesars says that because of the pending agreement to be bought by Fertitta Entertainment, announced on 28 May 2026, it is not holding a conference call for this release. It also says its common stock will no longer be listed on Nasdaq and that it will become a private company when the transaction is completed. SBC Americas reports that shareholders approved the deal on 22 September.

The results do not break Digital revenue out by state, product or brand, so they do not by themselves say how Caesars Palace Online Casino or Caesars Sportsbook did in any single market. SBC Americas points to estimates from analysts at Citizens that Caesars' share of the US online casino market fell to 6.4% from 7.1% and its share of online sportsbook handle to 4.9% from 5.2%; those are analyst estimates, not company figures.
